Las Reglas del Juego: Consideraciones Críticas sobre Radical Hermeneutics de John Caputo
Lorenzo Peña

John Caputo has claimed that in limit situations playfulness breaks through as the abyssal ground of our being, thus showing reason to be what freely enacts any rules. As against such a view I argue that there are bound to be some rules any rational thought stands by. Now, we need ceaselessly to sift the entrenched beliefs about what is to count as a rational rule, since established standards and institutions quite often are nothing else but unduly stiff, narrow-minded constraints which, to that extent, depart from what alone is entitled to hold sway over rational thought in general.
